Photographing the wedding of high school sweethearts is always a very special experience because not only have the bride and groom done a lot of life together, but so too has their community of friends and family. Emily and Tim’s St. John’s Military Academy wedding was one such event! They are graduates of Lake Country Lutheran High School, and I was connected with Emily years ago (and lots of her friends!) for senior portraits through family members of mine who are teachers at LCL. It still blows my mind that years have passed, and these are Emily’s WEDDING photos!! It was a tremendous honor to capture this beautiful and sacred union between two people who love each other and honor God with their lives and relationship. The day was truly blessed from beginning to end, with love, joy, intimate and emotional moments, incredible weather, beautiful details, and stunning locations to host the ceremony and reception party!
