Let’s hope this pretty, powdery blog post is snow’s last hoorah this season! This is the kind of snow fall everyone desires for their winter session, and we were pleasantly, unexpectedly graced by its beauty as we photographed Hannah + Nate’s engagement session at the Green Lake Conference Center. Hannah + Nate are a wonderful couple who compliment each other perfectly and are totally committed to doing life together. They met in college at the same camp at which they will host their wedding this coming September! I had so much fun reconnecting with these two (Nate was a great friend of mine in college) during their shoot, which was kicked off by a huge bald eagle flying up from the lake and perching on a tree nearby. All of us being nature lovers, we embraced the snow, the cold, the wildlife, the togetherness, and the quiet solitude of Green Lake as we celebrated Hannah + Nate’s love through photography.
