Today I am not only getting caught up on blogging some fabulous photo shoots from 2014, but I am also happily dreaming of warmer weather! To me, there is no better place than Wisconsin in the summertime… the lake life, beautiful parks & scenery, and the warmth, joy, & friendliness of the people here. I feel truly blessed to be a photographer in the Lake Country area because I get to combine all of the above… as my JOB!! Mick and Kendra completely share my sentiments and used their engagement session to capture their love and relationship in some local places that are particularly meaningful to them. We began the photo shoot in my all-time favorite place on earth, Nashotah Park. (Yes, I am easy to please!) These high school sweethearts have a passion for getting out and enjoying creation and all it has to offer- they are even hosting their September wedding at the picturesque & rustic Milford Hills Hunt Club! From the park, we headed to Kendra’s family cabin on Moose Lake. The cabin is a place where many special memories have been and will be made as their family continues to grow. I love the colorfulness of those photos! We wrapped up Mick & Kendra’s engagement session at a little-known nature preserve in Nashotah that was donated by an incredibly generous couple from their church. I must say, love, kindness, peace, patience, generosity, and selflessness were noticeable themes woven throughout our time together. Mick and Kendra’s relationship is a wonderful example of that kind of love. I know you will be able to see it through these photos!!
