This song is most definitely fitting for beautiful Jefferson senior Lizzi, who lit up my lens with her sweet spirit, boho style, and melodic guitar strummings. Lizzi’s Senior Portraits were photographed at Nashotah Park, and also at my parents’ property in Hartland, Wi. When Lizzi shared her vision of having her pictures taken in a river at sunset, I knew just the one- the one that has inspired me for 3 decades, the one I grew up wading in many times at sunset. (Although I forgot how cold the spring is and how slippery the river rocks are- thankfully Lizzi had an adventurous attitude!!) I am always thrilled when a client’s style and vision click so perfectly with the things and places I am also passionate about.
