When I met Lucas + Harley Jo for the first time for their wedding consultation, I thought, “Yes- these are my people!!” They love the country life, are super laid-back and so easy to talk to, and they are getting married next year at The Landing 1841, a beautiful Wisconsin barn wedding venue. I literally did a happy dance when I received the news that they had chosen me to be their wedding photographer. The next step after signing with Faith Photography is to begin planning the perfect engagement session (included in every Wedding Collection!). I have a few special locations saved up my sleeve for particularly adventurous couples… and I believed Lucas + Harley Jo to be one such couple. We met at the Loew Lake unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest in Monches, one of my long-time favorite places to escape to with my dogs. I have always been very inspired by the natural rawness of Loew Lake and the way evening sunlight makes the whole place feel mysterious and magical, a totally private paradise. After years of dreaming about it, it was such a wonderful experience to bring Lucas + Harley Jo there and to capture their sweet and fun relationship.
