Holy Hill Engagement Sessions are among my very FAVORITE things to photograph! If you have ever visited the Holy Hill area, you know that there is something incredibly magical and romantic about it… The rolling hills, deep, rich forests, rivers and ravines, horse farms on every road, neat little shops and restaurants tucked in, and plenty of places to pull over and enjoy the nature and wildlife. Even being from the area and having driven the roads and explored the woods countless times, the ethereal landscapes deeply move and inspire me every time. My experience is complete when I have a beautiful, in-love couple to share it with and to capture!! Megan and Kevin knew right away that Holy Hill was the place in which they wanted to have their engagement session, and I eagerly obliged. Due to it being fall and a weekend, we had to improvise around the crowds of people and kept to ourselves in the woods. We couldn’t get near the tower, let alone in it, and to be honest, that was totally ok with us. Intimacy and ease are the goals during engagement sessions, and I think you will see that these two were really able to let loose and enjoy each other in front of the camera!! For the second half of M+K’s photo shoot, we headed to another local favorite, Monches Farm. That golden hour light was so good to us, and even in October the place was bursting with color and life and energy. It is quickly becoming one of my new favorites.
