It may be quieter on the Faith Photography online front these days, but I assure you that I am still active & having a blast behind the scenes!! Well, it’s time to break that quiet streak with a lovely & SUPER fun winter engagement session of Florida couple Bree + Chris! Bree + Chris had planned on a destination wedding to our beloved Delafield, WI, in May of 2020 to say their “I do’s” at Chris’ alma mater St. John’s Military Academy, with their party to follow at the Delafield Hotel. But due to obvious reasons & sudden basic life restrictions occurring during that time period, these lovebirds decided to err on the side of safety for their guests (the majority of whom are traveling in) & rescheduled their big event for May 2022….. KILLING me with the waiting, guys!! St. Johns + the Delafield Hotel has to be my fave church + reception venue combination of all time, not to mention, Bree + Chris are top-notch people you WANT to be around.
So needless to say, I was absolutely thrilled when Bree recently emailed me requesting updated engagement pictures, since we photographed their first session in 2019. Truly, a lot can change in 3 years!! The beauty for me was to see that their love, bond, connection, & playfulness has only increased in the last 3 years. The weather did not disappoint, & we had a perfect blanket of snow + that natural diffuse light that is so appropriate for cozy winter engagement pictures. My favorite thing about Bree + Chris is how easily Chris makes Bree laugh, and their joy really shows in these snapshots. It was a delight to capture these pictures for them in Nashotah Park. Enjoy!
