As an artist, I constantly see the world around me through the lens of a camera. I see design, texture, value, and a work of art in just about everything: people, nature, interior design, architecture, in the lines of a car, or the features of an animal. While photographing weddings and high school seniors has captured the heart of my business, I jump at the opportunity to photograph something completely different, when I can. It keeps me fresh, inspired, creative, and tuned into the precious details of life that can be so easy to miss. Every year my family spends Thanksgiving with our dear friends the Kieckhefer’s, and this year was an incredibly special and festive celebration. Family member and interior designer out of Chicago, IL, Sara Kieckhefer Turner, pulled out all the stops to turn the barn into a cozy Thanksgiving wonderland, and I had the pleasure of photographing the incredible details!!
